The prospect rankings for the class of 2021 are almost updated. Let’s take a look at what you can expect or might see when they are released.

THE TOP 10

Foster Wonders (SF, Iron Mountain)

Wonders has established himself as 1 of the elite prospects in Michigan. He’s a do-it-all player that doesn’t just survive on his raw talent, but instead is willing to do things like set solid screens and hit the floor for a loose ball.

THE TOP 20

Omar Ziegler (CG, Detroit King)

It was nice to see Ziegler start to get his due during high school season. If you ask me, he’s always been a top 15 or so player in the class. Ziegler can be effective both playing with the ball in his hands or off the ball.

THE TOP 50

Bennie Crenshaw (PG, Waterford Kettering)

College coaches have got to see this floor general in action. He directs an offense with skill and efficiency. Crenshaw can break a press with the dribble and the pass. He has a knack for knowing when his team needs a bucket and delivering.

THE TOP 100

Christian Johnson (PG, L’Anse Creuse North)

Johnson is an underranked lead guard. He has strong handles on both sides and keeps his passes on a string. Johnson has good start-stop speed and always protects the ball with his off hand.

POST PLAYER

Blake Woodward (C, Romeo)

Woodward is a tough defender in the paint. Teams have to work around him when game planning. He’s a physical player that’s willing to body someone for a rebound.

WING

Kyle Booth (SF, Benton Harbor)

Booth is an athletic wing that could really shine next season. He runs the floor well with a smooth and long strides. Booth runs the wing well in transition and is a solid finisher.

POINT GUARD

Sam Versteeg (PG, Grand Rapids Christian)

Versteeg is a must see point guard on the west side of the state. He can attack the basket off the dribble and create for himself and his teammates. Versteeg plays the game like a quarterback under center.
